ADMISSION IN TO INDIAN INSTITUTE OF SPACE SCIENCE & TECHNOLOGY (IISST).
Indian Institute of Space Science and Technology (IISST) invites application from eligible candidates for admission in to Ph.D. Program in the areas of Aerospace Engineering, Avionics, Chemistry, Earth & Space Sciences, Mathematics & Physics.
Master’s degree in the relevant area with first class or equivalent passed candidates are eligible for this course. Outstanding candidates with Bachelor’s degree in Engineering with an excellent academic record and aptitude for research may be considered for direct admission to the Ph.D. Program. This program is open only for Indian Citizens & the maximum age limit for the candidates is 28 years as on 1.1.2010.
IIST-Ph.D. Research Fellowship will be Rs. 35,000/- P.M. (all Inclusive). The Candidates will be required to execute a bond to servo ISRO / IIST for a minimum period of 3 years on successful completion of Ph.D. in a position appropriate for doctoral degree holders. Selection will be based on written test followed by an Interview. Last date for submission of application form is 31.12.2009.
