Pragatika Mishra, a Techpreneur by profession completed her Post Graduate in Home Science and Currently pursuing her PhD in Home Science (Awaiting her Doctorate Degree). Being a Scholar in Home Science, she had completed so many courses on ICT to become a professional in IT sector. Also in her other part of life, she is a Fashion Designer, Art Critic, Editor of an Online Oriya Magazine, Venture Capitalist providing seed capital to different start ups, a Social Activist and a Professional Blogger to her credit.
She is currently in the Board Member of Imperial Group and Director of Aster Infosys, Chief Executive of one of the leading Regional Job and Career Portal- OrissaJob.Com and TopVacancy.Com, Part time Director in the Board of Holidays & Hotels (HotelsNHolidaysIndia.Com and HolidaysNHotels.Com), Managing Director of OrissaCulture.Com. Besides the above assignments, She has promoted a Virtual Art Gallery first of its kind in Orissa for the budding artists namely “ Pragatika Contemporary Art gallery”.
Pragati- A Social Activity Organisation initiated and founded by her is working for the development of Human Resources and every year under the Pragati Initiative, she is helping poor meritious students from each district (one from each district in Orissa) by providing them Pragati Scholarship for their higher education in any of the Institutes inside Orissa.
She is the First one in the State and the First lady who runs more than 10 Blogs in Education and Career domain regularly and the First one to Promote Regional Language and Culture through Oriya language in internet. E-patrica.com (Savitree) is one of the initiatives by her which is the First regional (Oriya) blog she launched this year in the eve of Oriya New Year- Maha Bisuba Pana Sankranti.
Besides the above, she is also working for the promotion of Jagannath Culture to the people world over through her popular content rich website Jaganathculture.orissaculture.com.
And at last but not least one can say that, she is a female professional of all kind who became a successful entrepreneur by her hard work but not by chance and can be an inspiration to other career oriented females in the male dominated society where people are looking for employment.
